About
Rebecca Slaman is NYC-based writer, theatre collaborator, and social media aficianado.
She has participated in many various aspects of theatre, both inside and outside the stage door. She is passionate about social media to an unhealthy degree. She could talk to you all day about centaurs. All employers want to know: who IS she?
Rebecca recently graduated from Fordham University Lincoln Center with a BA in English and Classics. She has been a staff writer at The Fordham Observer and contributing writer at theatre satire publication The Broadway Beat. Splinter, Fordham's musical theatre group, would be remiss without her choreography, assistant direction, sound design, and dramaturgy. She was also their Public Relations Manager, where she grew engagement 200%.

My perspective:
Fueled by a passion for analysis, I have fostered a love of performance and cultural criticism. I see marketing and dramaturgy as two sides of the same coin: studying outside perspectives to encourage productive engagement. In my life, I use this thirst for knowledge to stay on top of pop cultural trends and theatre buzz. This is all probably a result of having a Twitter at an age before I was legally allowed to (don't tell Jack Dorsey).
